Hey, I'm missing System Preferences, and have done literally everything in my power to get ahold of it, and have completely failed.
If you have a Mac and are willing to help somebody out big time, It'd be awesome if you could send me your System Preferences.app file .. Just PM me and we can figure something out ^_^
It won't be complicated, You'll just have to make a copy of the file and then send it to me.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.5.8, Leopard .. but any version should work.

I have a Mac I don't really know much about them though, not even sure if it's Leopard.

However I'd be glad to try and help out, send me a PM!

Nah, it randomly disappeared one day and I can't access it from anywhere.
Kampy sent me his yesterday, and after doing a Repair Permissions it looked like it was going to work, but it didn't.
I'm going to assume he wasn't running on Leopard.

Are you by chance running on Leopard?

my imac is 10.6.8 so final snow leopard, you're at final leopard so I couldn't help you

you could get the snow leopard upgrade for $30 and that should fix your preferences also update you.. snow leopard runs much faster and uses less resources
