I don't have my LOD cd, but I have my classic Cd's. I installed the Classic version using the CD's, and LOD using my battle.net account (I have the CD-key, I just can't find the CD). When it's first installed it runs, but after I exit it for the first time, and try to re-open it it says "Diablo II was unable to find game.exe. Please make sure your application is correctly installed, and that your expansion disc is in your cd_rom drive, and try again."

Why is it asking for a CD when I downloaded it off of the battle.net site?

I've tried downloading both of them off of the site, but it still asks me to enter a CD :/

When you first install it, after your "Diablo II" client is running, make sure to log into Battle.Net and update your "Diablo II" client to version 1.13. GL man.

right click on your diablo 2 launch shortcut and go to properties. then go to the compatibility tab Check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode for: i believe the default should be Windows XP SP 3. leave it on that but if it doesnt work, try choosing the operating system you use

Thanks for the luck, but I've tried that too. I don't understand why it's doing this now...because it didn't give me any problems before.
