I'm trying to post blogs but seem to be missing some information about the difference

So does that mean I should be posting my blogs in general chat or off-topic section?
So far moderators have only stated I have made a mistake but didn't reference how to do it right.

I apologize in advance as I'm not very chatty and only really used this site in search of diablo 2 items and am now exploring its other features a bit more. In this process I'm learning the other rules and guidelines as I go.

A blog is something where you basically can keep notes for yourself for public use, like funny links or threads, or keeping up with the history of items like so

Your first blog that I saw was closed seems like a discussion topic, and would be better posted in General Chat.

However if you feel your blog was closed for the wrong reason, you may by all means PM a Junior Moderator and ask if it is possible to have reopened.

A blog is already listed under the Off-Topic Forum. So you should be fine posting in there.

Also remember that your blogs (posts) must be on topic with the title/first post of the topic.
