a freind of mine gave me his extra sc2 cdkey to play with him, i have the download client going, have the cd key registerd to my blizz account, but its getting to about 1 gig and then the download is stopping and saying i ahve to go the blizz site, not saying what for

you need to register an account on blizz site to play sc2

if u mean a battle.net account i have one, and i have the cd key in that accounts name, the download game client is just telling me to go to the site, i only have like 1/6th of the game downloaded via the client so far, and it wont go any farther w/o telling me to go to the site

Check your firewall/antivirus stuff.
Try turning them off

ive already gave them both permission go thru tho, its already got 1 gig downlaoded lol

re-dld the client, still gets to 13% and shits its pants and now its just sittin there at 13%
