Okay so here's the issue, i have 3 jacks on my lap top (black/pink/green)

Normally i have my headphones plugged into the black jack and all of my computer audio would come through there.

Now it seems that NO sounds besides the computer default sounds will come out of my computer... anywhere.

I.e i can go to youtube, play a video, no sounds, but if i go to test my audio it WILL play the computer "ding" sounds.

Well, normally it is the green jack, that is used for general audio. It can also be a mixup in the drivers, and moore likely you might have muted the sound somewhere.
Could you write more details? Like motherboard, speakers/headphones, computer name?

No, normally it's the black jack, as i just finished saying has worked for me for 2.5 years, now all of a sudden this morning it isn't.

Yes i've restarted.

Computer name is really irrelevant, as is the fact im using my beats by dre to listen to (as i have been for over a year with NO problems)

What it says is ATI HDMI Audio (Not plugged in)

It's plugged in, i've quadruple checked, and yes the headphones still work, i just tested with my iPod.
