Got such an ASUS eee pc 1000h with windows xp slim version on it. Recently it starts to BSoD from time to time and keeps freezing. Is it possible to re-apply Windows onto this netbook? Note: it got no CD Drive and i dont own any USB CD Drive.

Are there Windows Versions for USb Stick or such? Any idea how to get a new, fresh installed OS on my netbook?

Well your best bet is to take it directly to a computer shop since it is weird that you don't have any USB slot in a netbook, I am sure they do a spot for it before making the whole computer.

i am totally stuck at this. when i try to install from the usb drive it asks for my windows 7 key. i enter the one that is noted on the back of my netbook, its for windows 7 starter. the installer then tells me the product key i entered is not correct. i double checked for o and 0 etc. do i need a new windows 7 key? for home or premium or such? i dont know what to do now lol.

Make sure that you visit the "Microsoft" website first before purchasing another "Windows 7", unless you have already installed your "Windows 7" on another machine and you are using the same serial key on your notebook:
