Is there anything wrong with people making a post for trading an item and they do nothing with it. take no trades/offers. Just curious. Seems like a waste of space

No, there is nothing wrong with posting gear for trade and not selling it since sometimes D2JSP members are unsure as to what they want for it or if they even want to sell it. Sometimes, if the price is right, then D2JSP members can trade the gear and be satisfied with their trade. As long as these people follow the D2JSP trading rules and posting rules, then there is no problem.

What do you mean by "do nothing with it"?

They may not have recieved an offer they liked or decided to trade the item

There is nothing wrong with a member making a Trade topic, As long as it doesn't violate any of the forum/trade rules..... Trading grounds topics will usually get closed & Archived after 3-7 days of in activity

i was just curious, example someone posts they want to sell something at a certain amount of fg, they get that offer and then they dont go through with it. Not upset in anyway, just curious. Makes sense

It's simply looking for highest possible bids. They may sell whenever and to whomever they'd like to. As long as its within the trade rules.

Sometimes ppl complete/finish trades via PM (Game name/final aggrement) after an offer has been made (althought trading via PM is not advised... as it's harder to prove a scam & therefor use of a Mediator is highly advised) and no longer post in the topic
