im having trouble getting online at the same time with another user i bought an item from. would a med be able to hold my fg and have the other user make a mule account and put the item on it. once the med confirms the item is on the account they would send fg to the seller and give me the pass to the account. this is for a diablo 2 trade

He never talked in any way about a mediator logging onto someone's account. Re-read correctly.

And I would say it seems possible, but you never know with the weird rules this site has.

how exactly is the mediator supposed to "confirm the item is on the account" without logging onto it?

dont know if this would change anything but it would be a new account created just for this trade. so there would be nothing on it whatsoever

The only way the Mediator would be able to see the Item on the account would be to log into it

Also the seller could easily log back in/ recover the account after the fg was sent

Whic would facilitat in scams
