depends if you're selling as jewelry or gold.
also, google is a wonderful invention, surprised more people haven't heard of it.

well assuming gold is about around 1,700 an ounce... 28 grams = 1 oz, so... i would guess around $4,000 112grams = 4 oz.

It's only 10karat though. don't get his hopes up.

Is there a big difference if sold as scrap gold or as jewelry ?

From google and my math skills i get that 10k scrap gold worth 22$/g

But how much can i expect since its a like new big chain.

The price of gold and silver has risen, so I suggest you take your chain to a jewelry store to get it weighed and have it appropriately price checked. Good luck.
