Hi,

I am wondering I cant figure out how to change my Ip..... My DHCP is set to change every half hour supposedly. I am also wondering I have a R/D and if I change my ip will it even matter because I heard if your on a long r/d its your cd key not your ip...

If you change your IP it should be working your Cd Key has nothing to do with it at all

Take a look at this guide: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=39461179&f=21

The only sure fire way to remove an R/D is by changing your mac address.
Log into your router, goto the clone mac address settings, pick one letter and change it to anything from A to F.
Save settings, reset your router (via unplugging the power), presto. No more RD.
As well, just changing your ip does remove the realm down, but if you do NOT switch cdkeys, you will get realm downed quicker (using the same cdkeys you just got rd'd on).
Not here to argue cause I know that's where this will head. It's just a fact. Change ip, swap cdkeys, you're good.

Simply stop making short realm games and MF longer if that is what you are doing, or if you are running "Baal" games, then simply MF a little bit after you have defeated "Baal" and then wait a minute or so before making a new game and you should almost eradicate your chances of earning a RD. Good luck man.
