Did you check to see if your wiring was torn in any way or pulled forcefully as you got up? If so, you might have damaged the wire even though it's plugged in. Okay, enter your "Control Panel" and enter "Hardware And Sound", then enter "Sound" and make sure that the audio device that you want your sound to be projected from is the default device and enabled. Sometimes when you accidentally yank the wiring to your machine it might deactivate your hardware's software.

If nothing is working for you, then you have to initiate a system restore point or a possible system re install. Good luck man.

Something may have gotten individually muted in your volume controls, so check there:
To open Volume Control, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Entertainment, and then click Volume Control.
If you have a sound card, you can use Volume Control to control the volume and speaker balance when you play audio files.

check this out if you still have problems:

Might need a new soundcard - or your wires went bad.

Only other things I can think of

I am glad I was able to help you maxx_factor, congratulations; Next time, be very careful when moving around your machine, because it's a very fragile piece of gear and I am sure that you probably accidentally yanked a wire somewhere that uninstalled your sound's software. Good night man.
