Hi, when my guild mate tries to add one of our gif avatars it says :

Sorry, you are not permitted to use that image as a personal photo as the extension isn't on the permitted list.

Anyone knows why ?

Try to upload it first on tinypic.com or imageshack.us and should work.

Als make sure he is not using the [IMG][/IMG] tags on the link he's putting in

That will cause that to happen

Try uploading it again.
If he is using the correct link and he's still getting this error, keep trying. I get that error randomly from time to time. Normally works by the second time though or if i re upload it for a new link.

Yep, anytime.

Just for future reference, it's generally best to use imageshack or tinypic. From there, you can easily get the direct image link.
Also, you can right click on images and select "copy image location" which will give you the direct link as well.

If that still gives an error when you try to put it on as an avatar, let me know.
