Can't find this anywhere. Is this possible?

Only way to socket superior items is by the socket quest in act 5. You can't cube socket superior items.

Also:

Unique Items get 1 socket.
Magic Items get 1-2 sockets 50% chance.
Superior Items get max sockets.

You have to complete the quest "Siege On Harrogath" in act V and then asking the blacksmith to add sockets to your gear. Depending on what gear you request to add sockets to, the number of sockets will differ.

I'm pretty sure this is not true (bolded)


im not 100% sure but I believe that the same recipe people use to eth bug armor for higher defense works on superior items


the only thing is that it will not bug the defense because it is not eth and also the % enhanced defense modifier negates the glitch also

Secret is correct, Superior Items can not be socketed using the cube recipe

The only way is with Laz's Socket quest
