I know this is probably a bit late to be asking,
But I had just cleared out my entire acount due to the fact that I was told
that ladder resets are this month; August.
I was also JUST NOW told that ladder wasnt too long ago; this last March.
How big are the ladder reset gaps? && Would anyone happen to know
when the next ladder reset would be?

According to Blizzard, the Ladder will reset every six months. Therefore the next reset should be in the end of September.

Not official yet but they are supposed to be 6 months apart now due to the release of D3 coming soon.

So the next one should be late September.
