is there a program which is good as photoshop? since i don't wanna buy it, i am in search of a photoshop program, that's better than paint / picasa / etc^^

GIMP. Not as good as photoshop but highly recommended for beginners, and it's free.

I personally am a Gimp user and would highly recommend it. It's very similar to PS, however it's free.
