I've "purchased" all eleven of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series recently.

There are eleven books total, written in this order.

01Wizard's First Rule
00Debt of Bones
02Stone of Tears
03Blood of the Fold
04Temple of the Winds
05Soul of the Fire
06Faith of the Fallen
07The Pillars of Creation
08Naked Empire
09Chainfire
10Phantom
11Confessor

Now, seeing as "Debt of Bones" is a prequel, and labeled 00. Should I be listening to that first? That is all.

No, the prequel was written after the first book. They're in order as far as date of publishing I was just curious if it's common to read the prequel first or after.

Audio books? Read the actual books.

1-8 and 9-11 are different.

Chainfire and beyond aren't really continuations from the 8th book. Chainfire and later picks up after 8 kind of but has different focus.

I have a job which requires physical labor and my attention focused elsewhere. I don't have time to physically read the book, so I turn to audio books. Gives me about 14 hours a day to "read".

Regardless, I don't care what you have to say about the later end of the book series, I want to know about Debt of Bones and weather I should read it first or not.

No. Its a standalone book, not directly related to the series.

The prequel? Really. Alrighty then I'll listen to that second I guess. lol Can't hurt, but I don't want it to give anything away. ^_^ I had listened to A Song of Fire And Ice by George R.R. Martin, loved every second.
