Iite well I just fixed up my comp again and started playing on it, a day later, the mouse is turning off and on. It started to happen once every five minutes or so, and now it happens every ~15 seconds it's very annoying.

IT won't move, and the light turns off. I move it a little and it usually fixes, if it doesn't, I run my finger over the laser and it starts again.

I tried using a mouse pad and it sort of fixed it. IT happens every ~30 seconds now. A significant difference anyway.

So anyone know what's happening?

Check your mouse cable if it isn't wireless, make sure it is correctly plugged in, if it is, then it's probably the mouse that has a problem.

If it's battery powered it may need a new battery.

Either check the wire if it has one
If wireless then try to change the battery / change the plug used for the usb

clean the lense of the laser

Reinstall it.

How?

Other mice work, it's not the wire.

as in wipe the lens of the laser with a damp cloth or something.
