ok so my contract is about up with u.s cellular and i want a phone with internet obvi...

like an android cuz us cellular doesnt have the iphone. but i know my parents wont let me. (im still under my parents contract)

so i was doing a lil looking around and if i get a phone with just wi-fi will i still have to pay for the monthly internet? all help is aprieciated

The phone will have to be unlocked most likely and yeah you can buy a phone to just go on wifi with, you could even buy it from a retailer for wall price (around 600$ for a high end one) and just walk out without signing a contract.

if you purchase the droids and go under contract with them you have to purchase data plan or they wont let you get phone unless u pay retail like 400+ for it lol

if you don't plan on making phone calls and want to use the internet only then you can get any phone with wifi and not pay a contract, as long as you can connect to a network you're A okay

i would love to have the iphone except us cellular doesnt have them...
