through Amazon (dot) CeeOhhEmm?

I live in ottawa (canada) and consistently get this message:

Important Message
SOG Specialty Knives & Tools F01T Tactical Tomahawk, Black cannot be shipped to the selected address.

Is it illegal to own a throwing axe in canada? because amazon (dot) CeeEhh doesn't even sell throwing axes/knives.

if it is legal to own them, where can i order them from?

A lot of places have bans on certain weapons, Like for example, Michigan you cannot get a taser shipped to you.

You'd have to check your towns ordiences, BudK doesn't ship to places that the items are banned from.

I"m not from canada I have no idea on how their laws work but I know in the states you can only have certain things in certain places.

I believe there are laws in canada against certain types of concealable weapons, which is why citizens are not allowed to own guns, etc

also it could just be a prefference of the store you are attempting to purchase from

they have the right to choose not to ship to your location

Canada is pretty fickle about it's weapon laws, so alot of companies refuse to sell certain merchandise to avoid the hassle. You'll have to check with your local police department for information on it.
