I bought cd keys from a website and the guy added the cd keys to my account himself, so I have these cd keys and they are registered. So now I am able to download the game clients but my internet is slow as balls so I was wondering if I could install d2 with CD roms and enter the cd keys on my battle.net account.

Reason I ask is because battle.net has a 26 digit code where as the CD roms provide a 16 digit code. So is it possible to install D2, with D2 CD roms USING the battle.net 26 digit cd key?

I'm sorry but its not possiable to download Diablo II using the 26 digit cd key unless you download it from Battle.net

you will not be able to install a cd rom version of diablo 2 using 26 digit cd keys


you may however be able to find a ligher version of diablo 2 that does accept 26 digit keys, although im not sure




also space on your hard drive does not normally effect computer processing speed, although it can pending on the speed of the hard disk, as well as fragmentation, etc


installing a smaller version of d2 shouldnt even make a noticable difference



you might be able to find a lighter version through blizzard web sites


you also might be able to tinker with the video files and remove them as if you had installed it without the cinematics if you are really that desperate to save hard drive space

My internet is slow so it takes a long time for the blizzard client downloader to download. So there is no way around it? Just gotta suck it up and sleep while I download?

like i said you could probably delete your .mpq cinematics file just to save bandwidth


but it shouldnt make a difference in the actual speed of your computer
