Hey so last night I created an account but I forgot the name of the account. I remember the name of each character, the password to the account, etc, but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of my actual account.

I was wondering if it were in any way possible for me to find my account name via logs stored in my d2 folder for recent logins or something. I didnt register the account to an email and blizz tech support isnt doing much for me.

Obviously I can't do /whois, because the characters werent online. I had no friends on the account so I can't whisper them either.

Any idea what I can do?

The last account logged into stays saved when you connect to battlenet again .

if you remember some character names then shoot an e-mail to support@blizzard.com with one or more of the character names, they should be able to tell you the account name.

CDKey used to create the account may be useful as well.

Yes but I logged onto my main afterwards and then went to bed. I figured there was some sort of file in my D2 folder that would have stored account names but apparently not.



I've been talking to blizzard support online but the only thing they've told me was that my CD-Keys are usable.. Which is kind of obvious since ive been playing with them for the last year. I got an email address from blizzard support when I called who was said to be a supervisor, so I emailed him and haven't received a response yet. I'll send another to support@blizzard, though.

Just send an email as subject : Can't remember account or something, then explain your situation and then put some character names that are in the account and I am sure they will give you the account name.

Blizz sent me an automated email saying that I have to fill out a form online which I already did and that didnt work.

Just check your email? Idk bout you but when ever I make a new account I register it -.-
