Okay, i keep getting realm down but what i'm wondering is this...
I'll be in a game and then surfing jsp. i know when i get realm down because i lose internet also, when i refresh the jsp page it pops up as if i have no connection and my game realm downs. This the game doing it or something wrong with my net?
I've powered down my computer and modem for roughly 20 minutes this morning but no luck.

You could be having severe lag spikes that could be convincing the game that bad behavior is going down with your connection to the server which could trigger a realm down.
Possibly a false positive.
You may need new wires? Connectors? etc etc.
You may have interruptions in your hardware causing malfunctions with your connectivity.

Whats your speedtest look like via that PC? If its low you might be far away from your router and it can't handle that much traffic and is just fubaring out.

it's only about 10 feet away. I just noticed that the modem is resetting itself.

File transfer protocol? You mean ISP?
