Hey guys,

I had a ISP installer come in today and install my cable modem for my apartment.

I asked him to install it in one of the rooms, which he did. Now I'm having second thoughts (at least until I buy my new desk) and I can't get my kitchen table to fit into this room.

Soooo, can I unhook my modem from this wall and reconnect it into the coax in my kitchen and have it still work?

I just don't want to mess anything up and have to have him come back to fix it :S

This is a coax outlet for anyone wondering what that is

To be honest it really just depends on how they have your house wired. But normally with Cable companies, if you order service, that service is sent to all ports and it's the devices that pull the type of traffic. I would say I am about 90% sure you can switch it over no problem.
