I definitely say Macbook, I use one myself and I love it

You don't have to worry about viruses as much at all and everything is smooth flowing, nothing trashy you have to deal with.

They CAN but hardly anyone writes viruses for macs.




One thing I will say though is that I bought a MacBook in early 2008 and still use it and it runs great. If I bought a PC around the same time I probably would have gone through 2 or 3 by now Mac's cost more but they will last longer and therefore (in my eyes) are worth the money. However, if you need it for gaming I wouldn't recommend it because most games now are just for PC (though there are some great ones for Macs as well)

Alienwares are junk in my opinion. They are just putting a big price tag and a fancy logo on some sweet looking machines but functionally they aren't that great. Also, I've heard lots of horror stories of them crapping out and destroying sensitive data (my friends ate an important CD of his, and my other friends hard drive failed and he lost lots of stuff)

Well first 3 opinions on my friends were alien is better also its same price as mac both same price but alien have more GB on video more Gb on Hard Drive more Ram and all

But if you have to buy a new one next year the price difference isn't much if you decided to upgrade the macbook.


First and foremost though, what will you be using the computer for primarily? Internet? Games? Graphics?
