this happend recently when i was watching a movie on my laptop

i noticed my vlc couldn't keep up with the picture.

some spots of the screens like freezes for 1 sec, like it need to catch up with the movie or something :D

then there is massive color issue's for a couple of secounds.

my graphic card is up to date

so is vlc player.


nothing of that happends when i run the same movie on wmp

advices?

What formats are those movies in?

Have you updated to the latest version? :)

everything is up to date :)

/e its with all the formats i tried so far.

most of the movies is 720/1080

and ofc my laptop supports those kinds aswell ^^

Well I searched for it and they said it's important in what format the video file is. ( I mean .avi .mp3 etc <-- just examples )

You should try to deactivate the loopfilter in the preferences.

Well, I found this site, where the common problems are listed.

Try to go through them and see if you can find your error. I tried to search for it but I don't know your exact problem.
