Okay so I got 2 monitors and I want to be able to have 2 desktops on 1 PC

I've got this to work before via S-Video but it was shit quality

I got a converter to convert VDI to monitor port but now it only stretches my screen. It won't let me identify the 2nd one as a 2nd screen just an extension. Any ideas?

So you have 2 cables coming out of 2 different ports on your vid card now? Which ports/cables are you using?

DVI (huge monitor one) and the monitor one the only one left is S-VIDEO and the S-VIDEO identified the 2nd monitor as a monitor and not an extension.

I thought in your last thread you were ditching the s-video for a DVI to HDMI converter?

DVI to monitor converter, I figured the monitor one would fit into my TV AND my extra monitor.

So you mean DVI to VGA?

What are all of the video ports you have on your computer? and what inputs do your monitors have?
