Hello all,

I need help, my cat ran away a day ago, and I can't find him, we live in an apartment, usually the principle door is locked but seems like they opened it yesterday and he ran away, now I searched my neighbours... everywhere and I can't find him, do you have any idea how i can get him back? he's been with us 2 years and 1 month, he usually runs off and stays in the building but this time he completely went away.... im frustrated bad here^^

heres an idea.
get off the computer and go look for him?
put up some posters
ask people door to door.
idk.... get out of your house tho.

well i'd agree with the "get off the computer" part but the rest wouldn't help much or wouldn't actually work where he lives..

Leave the doors cracked, he'll come back

I posted this right after i came back looking for him and now again, practically most of the people thats lives next to me knows about it, I've been looking yesterday the whole day and now too.

Pretty much all you can do is get the word out and continue to search for him.

Cats tend to get into areas they can't get out of.

Check any and all rooms/closets/spots where doors or openings may have left your cat trapped.

If the cat is scared it will go somewhere dark and secluded check these types of areas.

Call out for it as you look. It knows you and will be wanting to find you and your voice may get it out of hiding.

The cat will need to eat and drink so check water sources and dumpsters and surrounding areas.

Little kids try to get their parents to take in strays often. Check with nearby families.

Cats have a way of showing back up eventually.

Yeah I practically searched every dark area... I also called out but nothing happened.

im sorry firstly i can imagine the stress your going through.
If you have pictures of you cat put them up with a lost picture and your cell phone number. if people find him her they usually tend to return your pet
also call the local rescue centres, there is a chance you cat has been picked up
other than the obvious searching and calling for your kitty i advise you keep calm and not to stress too much about it.
cats like to wander off and hunt for a few days... hopfully your kitty may come back on its own initiative!
