why everytime i install d2 with a different cdkey that my current one, when i try to log on bnet its says the cd key im using has been disable?

i know this cd key is not banned.

That is because your CD key has been disabled in the past and you most likely did not keep track of this information. Another reason might be because you are not following the Battle.Net user agreement and continue to do what got your CD keys disabled in the first place. Contact "Blizzard" directly if you have further questions regarding your issue. Good luck.

its a brand new cd-key, so i dont think its banned. does the installer makes a differece? i got it from battle.net. my old cdkey is the one attached so its now a 26digit one

So you didn't buy a new one, but simply install the game with the 26 digit CD key instead of the original 16 digit key?
That doesn't matter - both the 16 digit key and the 26 digit online version will be banned. They still count as one CD key.

this, also remove d2 completely before reinstalling it could be bugging the old version.

trust me is a new one, andi have try with more than 1 cd key.

Try contacting Blizzard for more assistance, because you have a serious issue Dj_Kilmore. Also, if you have used some third party programs while using your "Diablo II" client, some data might still be linked to your "Diablo II" client, therefore all of your CD keys are getting banned. Try re installing your whole machine to delete any corrupted data. Good luck once again.

i might have to do that, since im not using any third-party program, if i was i would be here asking this.

you may have been scammed as well u know
