I just recently got this headset, it's a SteelSeries Sibera v2 USB and the microphone doesn't work on it. I'm having to use my old headset wrapped around my neck when I'm wanting to use ventrilo and such.

I've checked my drivers, they're all up to date. I've also checked my sound options and it's all set to use microphone as default (my steelseries one) but it doesn't work unfortunately.

Would anyone possibly know what's wrong?

Make sure that your microphone is not on mute from your audio playback options kind person of D2JSP.

In ventrilo make sure when you go into set up that you (top right) hit direct sound and then the drop down menu for your mic make sure it says the microphone you're using and not default

I'll try this once I'm back home from Church and we'll see if that takes care of the problem.
