Okay so ima try and make this short but heres the whole story so i can get a good answer.

My iphone 3gs , had it for a year and it got wet. it started screwing up and slowly i just stopped using it all together because the light inside got burnt out etc and it was a pain to use.

i gave it to a friend that was suppose to send it in and get fixed etc.

never happened i picked it up a couple months after i gave to him ( i disconnected the phone ) so it wasn't active at this time, meaning u couldnt call it. etc. anyways.

i got an older phone just for something to have , and i have my iphone 4 now.

had my new one for a while now and im sitting here with my 3gs it says i have to wait like 20million minutes. no joke to be honest last time i check it was 21 million,

only thing i can do is that emergency call thing which if u have an iphone u know what im talking about.

when i plug it into the computer it wont do anything cuz obviously it says i need to unlock it etc.

so does anyone know what i can do to fix this issue?

Word for word at top it says

" Iphone is Disabled.
Try again in 21,536,374 minutes"

The way it sounds is you need to take it into your service provider and get it cleared, with verizon they sometimes charge 10 dolllars to do it.

Have you tryed to give it a hard reset, (hold power + home button) untill it switches twice off.

then do that, again buy putting it into recovery mode

(plug it into the computer with itunes, then hold the sleep/power button and home untill screen goes blank)

Itunes should then recognize it as its in recovery mode then you can restore it via itunes.

Has it been Jailbroken before?

The phone is pretty useless to me the only thing i really want are my contacts and my text messages,

When it was in my possession it wasn't jailbroken, but i doubt by buddy did it since it had no lite making it a real pain to use.

The only way to get rid of the disabled time is by restoring it with your own iTunes.

My old computer that i used with this iphone i still have but december ish i restored it completely to factory settings so obv anything and any history on there was whipped.

Basically all im looking for from you guys is , either the following,

yes you can take it in and they can enable it.

Yes there is a program that can enable a disable iphone 3gs Firm ware Unknown.

No theres nothing you can do to unlock your phone wihtout whipping it clean.

Take it in to your service provider and id that doesn't work go to an apple store. They have special ways of making things work..... . I am not very familiar with I phone, my experience lies with Android OS's but it is almost as or someone failed at a password a LOT!
