that's stupid .. what if somone has a private dupe hack and just sells items like this and gains all the gold in the system? thats stupid

EDIT: it's especially no fair if people actually buy FG with real $$ vs the people that have a priv dupe method and just gain all the FG for free for duping items and making up "History" to sell it.. thats bull crap... if u think about it

selling a duplicated item as "legit" is the equivalent of scamming, but it's annoyingly difficult to prove (which is why people get away with it)

If you can gather evidence that people are selling gear of your specification, then create a topic in the "Scammer Accusations" forum of D2JSP. Good luck.

Lol, how is it legal to sell duped items? What is the point to buying forum gold with real cash then? When Private dupe methods do exist and people do use them to gather thousands of Forum Gold. That is not fair at all to the people that actually spent $$ to buy forum gold, am I right?

As long as you are stating your items ase unperm, it is ok to do so.

You do have a good case though, perhaps a site suggestion would be good for that

Meh.. all I am saying is that I think it's wrong for that because it's not fair for the real people that spend there hard earned cash for forum gold. When the dupers that have no life and spend all day duping there items/etc and sell it for Forum Gold... And I believe it's sad that I heard if you get access you can get "Real life trading" or something, so then those guys that dupe there items get all that FG, could possibly buy real life items from the "Special forums" or whatever, that is really not fair, and I would never want to spend $$ to buy forum gold, especially with that thought in mind.

you cannot used forum gold obtained from selling duped items in the donor forum

you can not purchase items in the real-life trade sub-forum with forum gold acquired through trading "duped" items, and people don't make enormous amounts of fg by duping (unless they scam people/open jewel shops)
