I'm running two screens one is via monitor cable another is via S-VIDEO

Now the S-VIDEO runs to my 35' flat screen tv

When I put a browser window up there the text is all shitty / small / can't read anything. Changed resolution and didn't work. Any ideas?

Tried that as well, its distorted it would seem.

Could it be that S-VIDEO is only going on 480I ? My tv can handle 1080

that is most likely the case. S-video is meant to run on a much smaller resolution which is probably why your tv can't handle it. I would suggest running a DVI or HDMI to your TV. if your video card only supports VGA than you can buy a VGA to DVI or HDMI adapter.

Would a monitor splitter work?

Use an HDMI to your TV or a DVI at worst....

VGA would work fine to your monitor... I always use HDMI to tv and VGA to monitor

Ouch... using a really old one? Does it have DVI

S video isn't meant to be above a low-medium resolution worst best on <24 inch tvs/monitors

Well give it a try with DVI if it has it.. otherwise I'm not sure if a monitor splitter would work for a big tv
