would a phoenix shield be good for a javazon?

Even in PvM it is useless in my opinion, use Storm or a JMOD, if you can afford it.

It's fine on switch with CtA to flash redemption. I wouldn't use it as a main shield.

The reason why you shouldn't use it, is because Phoenix only adds physical damage. As a Java you mainly deal light damage. Furthermore the chance to cast a Firestorm will interrupt your attacks.
