Its a common error.

Happens sometimes when you have the (-ns) No sound typed in and are switching acts.

Can randomly happen in game while doing a variety of things such talking to a NPC etc etc.

Is it doing it as soon as you try to play?

The easiest way to fix this is to simply reinstall the game itself. Also make sure your drivers are up to date.

I would suggest uninstalling (run RegCleaner or Ccleaner after) & the reinstalling

A fresh install should solve ur problem
