Hey, so I've the following problem:


When I boot my computer, not every time, but 1/3 of time, it starts and gives me a message that I should press "F1", if I wish to continue, because there might be "low CPU speed"? That's what I read I think.

After I press F1 , it boots up normally, there is no error or what-so-ever, but I'd like to fix this.

Does anyone know whatsup?

That doesn't sound good.... never heard of that problem before.. lmk when you fix it I wanna hear what the problem was

1. dead CMOS battery
2. bad floppy drive
3. Keyboard error (witch is funny as hell
if you think about it)

If it is a bad floppy drive, use BIOS to set it to boot on floppy drive last, or if possible, tell it to not boot on the floppy. Keyboard error, well, not much to say. Try update drivers, or buy a new keyboard. The CMOS battery, i don't know what it is.

CMOS is the battery on the mobo itself.

Well, I found out how to turn off that "error report" , so it won't show as an error anymore, but like I said, I can use my PC normally, it isn't slower, it's working fine..
