Like this one:

When you hold your mouse cursor, you get the info about functionality. Sometimes I don't know how I did it, but that beige info stays on my screen forever! Whatever I do, I run a game, I watch a movie, it's still on my screen!

So far I know 2 options how to handle it:
reboot
or try to shut down windows and then fast cancel it (so most of process are turned off and that stupid info disappear)

Do you know any other solutions without reboot or shutting down?

Maybe there is one process responsible for screen, gfx and I could just use alt ctrl del and turn it off?

This happens to me also sometimes, what I do is minimize that tab, right click on the taskbar and close it, and then open a new tab.
This works for me and I'm using Google Chrome.

I've had this issue to and I solved it by setting your mouse over (minimize in this case) again and wait for a new one to show up and the other one would disappear and so would the new one.

Yeah, that would work sometimes, I know that, but not in my last case :(
I remember that I tried it too and there were just 2 infos: 1 disappearing and 1 staying, so no change :/

Hey Barteq,

have you tried upgrading to the newest version of firefox?
this may solve your problem.
