So i had my usb connected and left my computer on over night. I wake up and i see that it wont open anymore. Whats the problem?

try remove and put back in
if not take comp throw out window n buy a new one!

Did you try restarting the pc?

Does it still show up as a device or does it not get detected anymore?

is it there?
try changing the drive letter

open My Computer

Right click on the "unknown device" and install drivers.

Do as HoneyBadger said. If that doesn't help, connect your USB stick to a different computer to make sure, it's not a damaged USB stick.

Nothing shows up on My computer. When i insert the usb, i have to right click on the bottom right corner of my comp where the little usb pic is. Then it says (USB Device Not Recognized)

Also, if it "installed" correctly and still doesn't work try to right click and go to properties and reformat it.

REFORMATTING IT WILL COMPLETELY WIPE THE HARDDRIVE.

Do NOT do this unless you do not care about the data stored on the partition.




Plug it into a different computer if you can, chances are it is damaged if it won't even recognize it.. also try putting it into other USB ports on your computer just incase.
