i cant assign f2 to a skill

Did you select the key to be assigned to a skill at all?

Options --> Configure Controls --> Skill 1, 2 etc

You need to select F2 there.

If it's only the F2 key, try to assign it in a different game to make sure that your F2 button is not damaged.

what does it do when you try to assign it as f2?

is your Fn key on? if so, turn it off
