so, I recently broke my laptop screen, so I connected it to another external monitor.
it worked just fine, then I installed the latest video drivers and it was fine too, it restarted... all perfect.
then, instantly my external monitor goes to "stand by" (the orange LED) andI tried to restart it, it shows everything, but when it logs on the windows account, goes off again
but if I try to run in Safe mode everything runs good.

so, my monitor isn't working because of the drivers, can someone give me any other drivers that will make it work please?

Card is Nvida Geforce Go 7300

Help is appreciated

What driver version have you just installed? Is it 179.48 BETA?
If so, install an older version. If not, install the above mentioned driver.

Go to your device manager --> Display adapters --> Right click on your graphic card --> Properties --> Switch to the Driver Tab --> Driver Version

If that doesn't work (prolly ownt if u cant see the normal laptop screen lol) make sure your laptop is using the monitor. Some laptops will start up without activating the external monitor. There should be a hotkey in the function keys or near them that will cycle through the monitor setups.
/e also make sure the monitor is set to the proper input
