When ever i press F2 in game (one of my main hotkeys) It freezes my d2 and i have to exit.

How doi fix!

try to delete ur bnetcache existing in ur d2 folder

Another possibility is another porogram you're running is using F2 as a hotkey for something and is clashing with d2. if changing hotkeys doesn't work try to run d2 without any other programs/services running and see how that works out for you.
