everytime I load up firefox it lags..

by like not loading the page / freezing current pages for anywhere from 3 seconds to 2-5+minutes

NOTHING else lags

my mom's comp doesn't lag

my league of legends client doesn't lag

my aim doesn't lag

my msn doesn't lag

dunno what 2 do 2 fix online lag..;[

try re-installing

tools - options - advanced - network - settings
make sure theres no proxy

tools - add-ons
make sure theres no suspicious add-ons or extensions causing this

help - restart with add-ons disabled
reset all user preferences to firefox default
make changes and restart

tools - clear recent history - delete cache cookies

if not, reinstall browser

if it still lags, let me know

Since its only ur PC (ur moms works fine) its usually associated with something in ur mechine (unless u 2 are on differant routers/locations)

Try the Shadowfiends suggestions, see if those fix it

If not, plz post back here & will try to help u figure it out

You have to clear your browsing history and if you are visiting inappropriate websites, stop doing so. Also, don't allow programs that you do not use to load when you reboot your machine by changing which programs you actually want to run by changing your "startup" program settings.
