if im getting a new computer soon and have song files on old computer, is there anyway that i can transfer the songs from my iphone 4 onto itunes on my new computer without saving the song files on my old cpu?
any help is appreciated

cant you just connect your iphone to the new computer and use it like a flash drive? and xfer that way? and dosnt itunes keep track of what you bought? should let you redownload free? im unsure never used itunes

normally they don't let you download from the device onto a new computer, without the use of an illegal 3rd party program.
for obvious piracy reasons.

just save the songs from your old computer and transfer them to your new computer.

Easiest way would just be, Use a external drive / flashmem (big enough) to move your files, just to be safe
