well i made a donation for the DF access and star upgrade about this time yesterday, im not sure if i need to contact any moderators or whoever on the site though as i havent heard anything yet...?

Don't contact the staff, you donated to get into the screening process, which takes several days.
Paul will decide, whether you get access to DF or not.

why are some refused access if i may ask, i cannot think of anything i have done that has been much of an infraction or against the site rules...

Only Paul knows the factors, you cannot do much except following the rules and being friendly and helpful
