So I'm at my grandmas house and my Internet won't work for my laptop. It works for my iPod and my sisters laptop but not my laptop. The computer is having a dns problem. I restarted my computer a couple times, kept switching the wifi switch on and off and still won't work. Can anyone help me? I can't restart the router.

Start by running the network diagnostic and see what it tells you. Also, sometimes computers need a couple minutes to identify the network.

It says that it can't find any problems. We lost power this morning for 3 hours and still have a problem.
