Is there an alt + ctrl + del alternative for macs when programs aren't responding?

if you open up the menu from the apple at the top-left, there's a "force quit" option

a window that is similar to the one you might be used to with windows should pop up

command + ctrl + esc

might be

command + alt + esc

forgot how the keyboard is laid out, I know how to press it, not which buttons it is though
