Im running a Windows 64 bit OS, I just got it about a month ago and it's barely used. Whenever I try to open a download or install a program, it asks me to burn to a disc? Anyone ever have a similar problem?

Have you tried to check what the default program for opening such files is? It may be set to some dvd burning software.

Got it, had to download and switch to winrar. Thanks for the tip
