why does everyone want guls now what r they good for?

Some people want to cube two Gul runes to one Vex rune in order to prevent getting dupes. Cubin runes generates a new item ID = no dupe, won't poof.

I've not been keeping with trends or anything, but in general, guls by themselves are quite useless. They aren't used in many popular runewords and are relatively common. They are, however, easy to make via cubing two ists; and two guls will give you a nice vex rune iirc.

Ladder or nl? Gul is pretty useful on ladder. You can transmute them and form a couple runewords that are nice on ladder as well.

infinite guls + infinite cubing = infinite runes that matter.

Think this is the way shops obtain "legit" hrs

Fury is the only good runeword with Gul I know of that was widely popular.

Gul runes can be used for poison defense against poison enchanted heroes in dueling against poison enchanted monsters.
