If a mediator/trusted user scams, does the person not get refunded?

Scammed users only get refunded when the scammer chooses to repay the scams, no matter if it's a trusted tagged or a normal user.

Noone is ever refunded on scams unless the scammer decides too pay it back.

We're taught on JSP to use a mediator and to be safe with our trades, so when a mediator gets keylogged (his own problem for account security) and scams, the users won't be refunded..?
