I have a pc I purchased new, i would like to reformat it and retain the original legit version of widows. I have my windows activation key however I can not find the files I need to burn to disk to initialize the reformat.

Any suggestions?

should have the option of resetting to factory settings, which would make it like you'd just taken it out of the box if that's any good to you.

just have to spend a while getting rid of the bloatware that comes with most new pc's
