I had a 13 inch monitor, now i have a 21.5 inch widescreen 1080p and holy hell it's stretched out and doesnt look awesome.


I'm using windows xp

Can anyone help me adjust this to make it look gg?

yeah i changed it to 1280x720 and it looks a lot better. i just dont know if there is some specific way to find what the best to set it as, or if guess and check is the best method?

Oh that's weird, it just allowed me to change it to that super high resolution when it wouldnt before. Maybe it just took time to recognize it?

Now i have it in 1920x1080. It looks correct but holy crap the font is small as hell. Maybe that's just cuz this monitor is ginormous compared to what i'm used to?

Anyone know what would be a better res than 1920x1080 but would still fit that comparable size?

Can you change the resolution on your monitor? Try matching them.

With the link you provided, in the details tab it says:

Recommended Resolution
1920 x 1080

I'm on 1920x1080 and it looks great, but whenever i go to a website. for example i was just on espn.com, and everything is in the center, as if it doesnt configure to monitors like this. so now it's like 5 inches of blank on the left and right, and the center.
